JUDGING

10 finalists will be selected by judges that include veteran songwriters, producers from the community and industry professionals. One winner will be selected by popular vote. 

 

CRITERIA

Submissions will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, originality, melody, composition, lyrics and arrangement.

KEY DATES:

• August 26 (Monday) Submission window open

• September 22 (Sunday 11:59 PM ET) Submission window closes

• September 30 (Monday) Announce 10 finalists. Fans will pick the winner by popular vote.

• October 2 (Wednesday) Fan voting begins.

• October 12 (Saturday) 12 PM ET voting ends and a winner is announced.

Except for rights expressly granted in the Official Rules, artists retain all exclusive interest in and ownership of their song, lyrics and recording.
