Time is running out.
The Deadline to submit is midnight September 22.
Free to enter. One song per artist.
You MUST perform your song LIVE and record a video of the performance using the Songlinkr Studio. Then share the recording to the Feed. *Your recording can include multiple performers and you may play to loops/ backing tracks as long as you are performing vocals and an instrument live. Follow the steps below.
HOW TO ENTER A SONG

If you don't have one, create a Songlinkr profile.

On the site menu click Studio. YOU MUST RECORD YOUR LIVE PERFORMANCE HERE.

Press "Connect Camera." Once connected press "Start Recording."

When song is done click "Stop Recording."

On the right side of the screen click "More Tabs" and then click "Recordings."

After your video is done processing a thumbnail will appear. Click the "Share" button. This will create a post to the Feed.

Announce in the post that this is your submission for the End of Summer Songwriting Contest and include your Artist name and the name of the song. You’ll automatically be entered and notified if your song makes it into the top 10.

JUDGING
10 finalists will be selected by judges that include veteran songwriters, producers from the community and industry professionals. One winner will be selected by popular vote on Facebook.
CRITERIA
Submissions will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, originality, melody, composition, lyrics and arrangement.
KEY DATES:

August 26 (Monday) Submission window open

September 22 (Sunday 11:59 PM) Submission window closes

September 30 (Monday) Announce 10 finalists. Fans will pick the winner by popular vote on Songlinkr's Facebook page.

October 2 (Wednesday) Fan voting begins on the Songlinkr Facebook page.

October 12 (Saturday) 12 PM ET voting ends and a winner is announced.
Except for rights expressly granted in the Official Rules, artists retain all exclusive interest in and ownership of their song, lyrics and recording.
